VENTU aka Pedro Ventura, expõe pela primeira vez uma nova abordagem à pintura/escultura.
Um trabalho de desenvolvimento com anos, onde o mote é o sair do convencional retangular/circular e entrar no orgânico.Pintura abstrata sobre tela em armação de madeira com formas não convencionais, fluidas e orgânicas.
Um desafio ao instituído com influências da arte de Leon Polk Smith, Frank Stella, SolLewit, ou as formas monocromáticas de Henri Matisse, a escultura de Alexandre Calder ou a pintura de Miró, esta abordagem pretende "desassossegar" o status quo.
Peças para incomodar e/ou encantar. Fluido, colorido, alegre, decorativo, inquieto, desafiador, são alguns dos adjetivos ditos pelos os que já tiveram contacto.
A mensagem vai para além do fazer algo diferente. O construir uma linguagem de conforto e beleza estruturada pela forma e cor, sem identificação com o existente.
"O belo pode ser diferente".Um multi-universo em cada peça, desde a estrutura, às camadas, às leituras sobrepostas e variadas, provocadores de um estímulo cognitivo contínuo, onde a mente procura o que não existe.
Todas as peças são construídas de raiz pelo autor.

A work that has been in development for years, where the motto is to move away from the conventional rectangular/circular and towards the organic.
Abstract painting on canvas and a wooden frame with unconventional, fluid and organic shapes.
A challenge to the established with influences from the art of Leon Polk Smith, Frank Stella, SolLewit, or the monochromatic forms of Henri Matisse, the sculpture of Alexandre Calder or the painting of Miró, this approach aims to "disturb" the status quo.
Pieces to disturb and/or enchant. Fluid, colorful, cheerful, decorative, restless, challenging, are some of the adjectives used by those who have already had.
The message goes beyond doing something different. To build a language of comfort and beauty structured by shape and color, without identification with the existing.
"Beauty can be different".
A multi-universe in each piece, from the structure, to the layers, to the overlapping and varied readings, provoking a continuous cognitive stimulus, where the mind searches for what does not exist.
All pieces are built from scratch by the author.
